Luke Morris became the first jockey to ride 100 winners in an all-weather season when steering Giantouch to victory at Chelmsford.
Morris, who will regain the all-weather jockeys' title from Adam Kirby when the season ends at Lingfield on Friday, completed a double on Middle East Pearl.
"It's great to get the 100 winners. I was hoping to nail it before the end of the season on Friday," Morris told At The Races.
"Giantouch won very well and he'll be a nice horse to go forward to the turf. It was nice to ride my 100th winner on one for Marco Botti. He's given me plenty of support through the winter.
"The target at the start of the season was to try to be leading rider. Adam (Kirby) has had a fantastic season and has been on my tail all the way."
