Gregory Benoist joins Al Shaqab riding roster

Gregory Benoist has assumed the role of main rider for Al Shaqab Racing in France.
The move means Frankie Dettori can now concentrate on solely riding the increasing number of Al Shaqab-owned horses in Britain alone..
Harry Herbert, racing manager for Al Shaqab, said: "The job had entailed a lot of travelling for Frankie and he was in and out a lot.
"We have more horses there now, but there are plenty more here for Frankie to ride, too, so it makes common sense.
"We're thrilled to have Gregory, who has already ridden winners for us, including today on a relative of Cirrus Des Aigles.
"Gregory can crucially form a relationship with the horses and trainers by riding work, which possibly Frankie would have found harder.
"It doesn't change anything regarding Thierry Jarnet riding Treve, though.
"Gregory's first port of call will be the Gerard Augustin-Normand horses but when he isn't riding their horses he'll be on ours. I'm sure it will work."
