Nafaqa is among a field of seven declared for Friday's Betfair Dee Stakes at Chester.

Second in the Royal Lodge to Elm Park last season, Barry Hills' charge chased home Kool Kompany on his reappearance this season in the Craven Stakes.

Aidan O'Brien is represented by Smuggler's Cove, who finished third in the Dewhurst last season but failed to cut much ice in the Gladness Stakes on his return to action.

O'Brien is looking for his fourth consecutive win in the race after Kingfisher, Astrology and Magician in recent years.

Sir Michael Stoute's Disegno looked promising last year and was not disgraced behind the classy Golden Horn at Newmarket while Ed Dunlop's Prince Gagarin makes his return having signed off last season with a Listed win at Pontefract.
