5.55 Windsor - Mithaaly bids to get off the mark

Mithaaly bids to get his head in front for the first time under Billy Loughnane in the Play The Matchbook Match 6 Maiden Stakes.

The George Boughey-trained 260,000gns purchase is yet to win from two starts, yet he has shaped with promise on both occasions. He finished half a length behind Rocket Boy at Yarmouth the last day, who subsequently ran a stormer when placing third in the Stonehenge Stakes at Salisbury.

From the raced horses, Fairy Well clearly sets the standard with two solid efforts in the form book. Notably at Leicester she finished behind Coat Of Red, who went on to frank the form when going close behind smart two-year-olds Evenfall and Sorrengail at Newbury.

Nobelos should provide the stiffest opposition of the newcomers, having been purchased for €110,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale, and any market clues may prove informative.

6.55 Windsor - Unexposed Ray Mon Dough headlines handicap

Ray Mon Dough looked potentially very smart when bolting up on debut at two last November and, still unexposed, he goes for gold in tonight's Matchbook Loves Racing Handicap.

He has taken a bit of time to come to hand this season but showed promise when second to exciting prospect (and now Listed winner) Behike. After not finding Chester to his liking in July, he truly showed his quality when winning with plenty in hand with a refitted tongue strap at Leicester. He should remain ahead of the handicapper today.

Waistcoat won impressively at Newbury last month and, although up in class, he can run creditably. Under The Twilight and Cashbox arguably bring stronger pieces of form to the table, with both finishing in the places at Glorious Goodwood.

Amazonian Dream found it too competitive at the end of July, but this course specialist cannot be counted out down in grade for the Rod Millman team.

8.10 Wolverhampton - James Choice and Prince Of Calypso renew rivalry

The progressive duo of James Choice and Prince Of Calypso renew their rivalry in the Follow @attheraces On Instagram Handicap.

Prince Of Calypso put his Thirsk blip behind him to continue his progressive trajectory when sticking to the task well and finishing third in a 14-runner handicap at Southwell last month.

In the same race, James Choice was the bigger eye-catcher, with the highest finishing speed of 111.87% to edge out the former on the line. This bodes well with an extra furlong sure to suit, as they put nearly four lengths into the fourth, and only went down to the progressive Sir Mark Prescott stayer Roc De Fer.

Clansman could prove competitive markedly down in grade, although this is definitely the shortest he needs nowadays.

Optician and Joseph are relatively consistent and should run solid races to round off this well contested affair.
