Falmouth winner eyes victory in France.

Mark Johnston's Nahoodh will renew her rivalry with 1000 Guineas conqueror Natagora on Sunday in the Prix Rothschild at Deauville. Three-year-old Nahoodh will attempt to follow up her victory in the Falmouth Stakes when she races Pascal Bary's filly who finished third in the French Derby in June. Johnston said he believes she will be tough to beat. "She's been very well since the Falmouth and everything has gone according to plan," he said. "I think a bit of cut in the ground certainly helps her, there is no doubting that, and we are relying on the French ground, which is usually on the soft side because they do so much watering. "If she runs up to her Falmouth performance or better, she will take a lot of beating." The Alain de Royer-Dupre-trained pair of Darjina and Sabana Perdida will also run in the Group One contest. David Elsworth will send Barshiba over to France from Newmarket, with the Marco Botti-trained Raymi Coya forming a three-strong British challenge. German challenger Briseida, fifth in the Falmouth, and the Freddie Head duo of Goldikova and Spring Touch complete the nine-runner line-up.
