Warrington prop Ashton Sims is one of five players charged by the RFL in the wake of the weekend's Super League games.

The Fiji international is accused of a Grade B count of punching Wigan's George Williams, while his Wolves team-mate Daryl Clark is charged with the more minor offence of making contact with Williams in the same incident.

Sims faces a ban of one or two matches if found guilty, a verdict which would end his ever-present Super League record since arriving from North Queensland Cowboys in the winter.

Leeds full-back Zak Hardaker is facing a Grade B charge of a dangerous throw on St Helens stand-off Travis Burns during Friday night's victory.

And there are two charges arising from Hull's rearranged game against Wakefield last Wednesday, one for each side.

Hull prop Mickey Paea has been charged with a grade C dangerous throw on Danny Washbrook, while Wildcats front-rower Mickael Simon is facing two grade B charges of raising his knees in the tackle.

Sims, Clark and Hardaker have until 11am on Tuesday to submit early guilty pleas while Simon and Paea will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening.
