Salford Red Devils forward Lama Tasi has accepted a two-match ban following his sending-off against Huddersfield Giants in Super League action on Saturday.

The 24-year-old former Brisbane Broncos prop submitted an early guilty plea (EGP) after being charged with a grade C offence of a reckless high tackle on Giants captain Danny Brough during the Red Devils' 36-10 win at the John Smith's Stadium.

Tasi, who is the only player to have started all 21 of Salford's league and cup matches this year, will lose his ever-present record when the Red Devils host Hull FC on Saturday.

Last weekend’s victory leaves the Red Devils five points behind eight-placed Widnes Vikings and head coach Iestyn Harris still believes the ambitious club can make the playoffs.
