Hull turn down postponement request from injury-hit Salford

Hull FC have rejected Salford's request to postpone Friday's Super League match at the KC Stadium.
The Red Devils were without 12 first-team players, including suspended quartet Rangi Chase, Weller Hauraki, Cory Paterson and Darrell Griffin, against Castleford on Sunday and picked up more injuries in the narrow 22-20 defeat at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Salford therefore took the unprecedented step of asking Hull to reschedule the clash but the Black and Whites, who have won only four of their 11 matches this season, are determined to play the fixture and will not be granting the request.
Salford Iestyn Harris has been considering playing 38-year-old assistant coach Ian Watson and it now looks as if the former Wales international will come out of retirement to make up the numbers against Hull.
The Rugby Football League said earlier on Monday that it would only step in if there was "a player welfare issue".
