Wigan have dropped full-back Lewis Tierney for Friday's Super League Grand Final rematch with Leeds at the DW Stadium, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.

The 21-year-old son of former Wigan and Great Britain winger Jason Robinson has deputised for the injured Sam Tomkins in the Warriors' opening five games but has been left out of head coach Shaun Wane's 19-man squad to face the Rhinos.

"Lewis has done well for us so far this year but there are a few things in his game that he needs to work on," said Wane.

"We'll look at doing something a bit different this week."

With Tomkins not expected to make his return from knee surgery until Easter, Wane looks set to switch Dan Sarginson to full-back with Oliver Gildart taking over at centre.

The Warriors welcome back skipper Sean O'Loughlin from injury as they look to avenge their defeat by Leeds at Old Trafford in October.

The champions are set to give a debut to Australian hooker Beau Falloon, who has recovered from a broken bone in his foot, while veteran back-rower Jamie Jones-Buchanan will make his comeback after being out for eight months with a serious leg injury.
