Warrington's Ashton Sims is hoping to end his trophy drought after reaching the Challenge Cup final for the first time.
Warrington Wolves face Hull in the final on Saturday after a convincing 56-12 win over Wakefield.
Sims has yet to win silverware despite playing at the top level for 13 years, initially in the NRL with St George Illawarra Brisbane and North Queensland.
"I was hoping I'd never get to that point where I'd be one of those guys who went through his whole career and never got a chance to win anything," the 31-year-old Warrington prop said.
"I've been pretty lucky in the sense I've only missed the NRL semi-finals twice. I made my debut in 2003 and though my whole career I've always played in teams that have been pretty successful but I've never made it to the big dance and this Saturday I get the chance to rectify that."
Although he has never appeared in a final before, Sims has experience of playing at Wembley, having been in the Fiji team that was crushed 64-0 in the 2013 World Cup semi-finals.
"I'm looking for a lot different result," he said. "It's one of my career highlights so far, even though we got absolutely smashed by Australia.
"Just getting the whole feel of Wembley, one of the greatest stadiums in the world, was brilliant and I get the chance to do it twice."
