Manu, who limped off with an ankle injury before the end of Friday's game, was on Monday charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade C offence which carries a ban of two to three matches.

"He has been withdrawn from the Tonga squad pending suspension," said a Hull spokesman.

Manu, who has started each of Hull's 12 matches so far this year, does not have the option of submitting an early guilty plea and, therefore, will face a hearing in Leeds on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old former Melbourne and Penrith forward missed Hull's Challenge Cup sixth-round tie at St Helens last May in order to play in Tonga's mid-season international against Samoa.
