Australian Wayne Ulugia has been sacked by Hull KR after just two months at the Super League club.

The 22-year-old winger joined the Robins in April after being released by North Queensland Cowboys, but his stay in England has been cut short due to unspecified disciplinary reasons.

A statement from the club said: "Hull Kingston Rovers can confirm the club has terminated the contract of first team player Wayne Ulugia with immediate effect due to repeated breaches of club discipline.

"The former North Queensland Cowboys back joined the Robins on an 18-month contract earlier this season and made three appearances for the club, scoring one try.

"The club will be making no further comment on this matter."

Ulugia made his Super League debut against Widnes on May 4, but has played only two games since then after being dropped amidst reports of a drinking session following a 34-6 defeat by Warrington.
