Salford Red Devils have given former Wigan hooker Logan Tomkins a one-year contract extension for 2017.
The 24-year-old younger brother of Sam and Joel Tomkins joined the Red Devils for the 2016 season following an initial loan spell and appeared in all 30 of their fixtures in Super League and the Qualifiers as well as the Million Pound Game.
Salford coach Ian Watson said: "Logan stepped up to be our starting nine last season when we had an injury to Tommy Lee and he made the shirt his own.
"The work Logan does off the ball is first class. He does things across the park that don't always get seen but make a massive difference to the team.
"He's shown big improvements during his time here and I'm sure he can continue to develop in 2017."
