Wigan hooker Logan Tomkins in second loan spell with Salford

Wigan fans may be forced to wait to see the three Tomkins brothers play together in Super League after Logan agreed to a second loan spell at Salford.
The 22-year-old hooker spent last season on loan at the Red Devils, where he made 18 appearances before returning to his home-town club at the start of this season.
He played in Wigan's first three matches of the campaign, including the World Club Series defeat to Brisbane, but has since fallen out of favour at the DW Stadium and has opted for a return to Salford, who are without first-choice hooker Tommy Lee with a long-term injury.
Wigan Warriors director of rugby Kris Radlinski said: ''Logan needs regular Super League rugby at this stage of his career. Not knowing where he is playing every week has been frustrating for Logan and we made a difficult decision to put his personal position ahead of the team. Salford gain a totally committed professional who will work harder than anybody to help the team.”
Tomkins said: “I’m really grateful to Shaun and Kris for allowing me this opportunity to join Salford until the end of the season. We are all in agreement that playing as much at Super League level is what I need right now and I’m looking forward to continuing my development as a player.”
Chairman Marwan Koukash says Salford also have an option on Tomkins for 2016, when middle brother Sam will return to Wigan from a stint with New Zealand Warriors.
Logan and Sam appeared alongside oldest brother Joel once in a pre-season friendly but have yet to line up in Super League.
Darrell, Josh and George Griffin made history last Saturday when they became the first set of three brothers to play together in Super League during Salford's Magic Weekend clash with Widnes.
