Aussie to return home after agreeing to terminate contract
Australian forward Glenn Hall has become the 10th player to leave Bradford after he was released following just one season at Odsal.
The former Manly Sea Eagles player arrived in Yorkshire amid high expectations 12 months ago but will return Down Under despite having two years left on his contract.
The 29-year-old agreed to terminate the deal after starting only seven times in a total of 25 Super League appearances in 2010, ending up in the reserves.
"We have agreed for various reasons that it's best to go our separate ways," Bulls chairman Peter Hood said.
"Glenn has at all times proved himself a model professional and we wish him every success in the future."
Hall's departure frees up a vacancy on their overseas quota, allowing them to finally register Australian half-back Marc Herbert, who signed in November.
Meanwhile, eight of the club's 10 new arrivals are set to feature in Sunday's pre-season friendly against Halifax at Odsal, which will double as Jamie Langley's testimonial match.
Former Great Britain international Gareth Raynor is among those included, allowing the winger a first taste of match action since May after serving a 15-month prison sentence for his part in a printer cartridge scam.
The 32-year-old former Hull favourite, who joined the Bulls from Crusaders, had been training with them on day release before his formal release from prison on January 1.
