Bradford loose forward Jamie Langley believes Super League needs the Bulls just as much as the club needs the league.
Top-flight clubs have backed a 14-team division, in turn reducing the chances of crisis-hit Bradford being demoted to the Championship.
Langley, who is the Bulls' longest-serving player, believes rivals would feel the pinch without visits from the club's away support.
Although the 28-year-old feels players might prefer a 13-team league to reduce the physical demands of the game, he is pleased club opted to focus on the wider implications of a league without Bradford.

"I know I'm a bit biased, and that Super League would go on without us, but it wouldn't be the same without Bradford Bulls," Langley told the
Telegraph and Argus.
"The Bulls have a tremendous fan base to take to away games and clubs have realised this.
"The players probably wouldn't mind the odd week off to recover but a 13-club league is something that needs to be thought about over a period of two or three years, rather than as a knee-jerk reaction."
