Catalan Dragons prop David Ferriol has lost his appeal against the severity of a two-match ban handed out for a reckless high tackle.
The France international admitted he had caught Warrington winger Joel Monaghan during his side's 15-6 defeat at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in July 9.
Ferriol had already sat out last Saturday's re-arranged fixture against Hull, a match the Dragons won by a 44-14 in Perpignan.
However the forward will now also have to watch from the stands when his club take on St Helens on Friday night,
live on Sky Sports.
