Gold Coast Titans forward Dave Taylor will join Catalans Dragons on a two-year contract from the start of the 2016 season.
The 27-year-old started his career at Brisbane Broncos in 2006, playing 49 NRL games before joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2010.
Taylor went on to spend three seasons with the Rabbitohs, earning six Queensland State of Origin caps.
The back-rower, who can also play at prop, made his Test debut for Australia in the 2012 ANZAC Test and subsequently joined the Gold Coast Titans on a four-year deal for the start of the 2013 season.
Super League side Catalans, who face St Helens on Saturday in their opening Super 8’s game, have reached an agreement for Taylor to join them from next year though, and Dragons head coach Laurent Frayssinous was delighted with the news.
"The signing of Dave Taylor is fantastic news for the club and the competition," he told the club’s official website.
"We are delighted to be able to attract such a quality player to the Super League. He will help us to make one step forward thanks to his experience at the very top level.
"His speed, agility and capacity to offload, combined with his size, will make him a good weapon for us."
The player himself is also excited by the move as he looks to prove himself in Super League.
"I'm really excited about this next phase of my playing career and can't wait to join the Catalans Dragons," he said.
"I have always had a desire to play in the Super League and I can’t think of a better side to be playing for.
"I can't wait to run out on the pitch next season in front of the supporters and do my best to hopefully win some silverware for the Catalans Dragons."
