Hull KR have added to their front-row options with the signing of Scotland international prop Ben Kavanagh.
Kavanagh is the latest player to join head coach Tim Sheens' squad for the Kingstone Press Championship and will add plenty of power and experience to the forward pack after signing a two-year deal.
An England Academy international while with Wigan, Kavanagh went on to rack up more than 200 Super League appearances for Widnes Vikings and Wakefield Trinity before spending last year in the Championship with Bradford.
He has been a regular in the Scottish squad since making his international debut in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
Kavanagh told the club's website: "Hull KR are still a massive club and they're striving to get straight back into Super League, as am I.
"I've got aspirations to get back up there again after a year in the Championship last season and I want to achieve that with Rovers.
"Tim's put together a really good squad with some quality players so I think we should be aiming to get that top spot and then kick on from there to hopefully get promotion in the Qualifiers.
"I've got a bit of security now and I can just get my head down and concentrate on playing some good rugby."
