Castleford Tigers have loaned out half-back Ben Johnston and utility back James Clare to Dewsbury and Doncaster respectively.

Decision

Doncaster claimed their first trophy in 61 years when they beat Barrow Raiders in the Championship One Grand Final in October and Clare believes the South Yorkshire club are a side on the up. "There were quite a few clubs who wanted me to sign for them with the Super League under 20's disbanding but it was my decision to join Doncaster," he told Doncaster's official website. "The Dons have just had an excellent season and everything seemed right about the club during our discussions. "I met up with (coach Tony Miller) this week and had a good look around the Keepmoat Stadium and I was really impressed with the facilities they have there. I hope to have a really good season with the club."
