England Women win World Cup opener against PNG Orchids

England came from 8-6 down to beat Papua New Guinea 36-8 in their opening game of the Women's World Cup in Sydney.
Amy Hardcastle provided the highlight of the first half with a 90-metre try that put her side in front for the second time, while Bradford team-mate Charlotte Booth scored a try in each half as England went on to complete a comfortable success.
Earlier, three-times winners New Zealand beat Canada 50-4 and holders Australia were 58-4 winners over Cook Islands. Australia will be England's next opponents at Cronulla on Sunday.
