Australia scrum-half Cooper Cronk has ended months of speculation over his future by signing a two-year deal with Sydney Roosters.
The 33-year-old Cronk ended his long tenure with Melbourne Storm in style by helping them defeat North Queensland Cowboys in NRL Grand Final.
The veteran Australia and Queensland half-back, who helped the Kangaroos to victory over England in Friday's World Cup opener, announced during the 2017 season that he was relocating to Sydney for personal reasons.
"It marks the start of a new chapter for me both professionally and personally and I look forward to joining my new team-mates and coaches, and immersing myself in the club's culture in lead-up to the 2018 season," Cronk said.
Cronk is treating the move to the Roosters, one of the oldest clubs in the league, as a new opportunity.
"Cooper has played the game at the highest level for a number of years and we are keenly aware of what he brings to the club," said Roosters chief executive Joe Kelly.
"Together with the established leaders within our squad, we see him as a wonderful addition to our roster."
