Prop signs up until 2010

Catalans prop Jerome Guisset has signed a new two-year contract with his home-town club. Guisset, who joined the Dragons for their entry into Super League in 2006 after spells with Canberra, Warrington and Wigan, has committed himself to the club until the end of the 2010 season, when he will be 32. The combative forward has played in 62 out of a possible 69 Super League matches since heading back to France and is the club's first re-signing since the appointment of Kevin Walters as coach for next season. "I am very proud to carry the Catalans shirt for two years more," he said. "The club has grown a lot since the beginning of the Super League adventure. "Our team is more and more competitive and the structures improve constantly. We all get along very well in the group and we take a lot of pleasure to evolve together."
