David Faiumu will be looking to make his long awaited Huddersfield debut after his arrival was initially delayed.
The New Zealand hooker signed for the Giants in June from the North Queensland Cowboys, but there were issues with his paperwork.
Now everything has been finalised, the 25-year-old Kiwi is relishing being involved in the set-up at the Galpharm Stadium.
"The last two months have been very frustrating so it's fantastic to finally be here," he said. "I intend to train the house down and hopefully get the nod for this weekend."
Faiumu was brought in after regular hooker George Gatis returned to Australia for family reasons.
