Saints stalwart off to Craven Park
Hull KR have confirmed the signing of St Helens prop forward Nick Fozzard on a two-year contract.
The 31-year-old former Leeds, Huddersfield and Warrington front-rower is out of contract with Saints at the end of the season.
Fozzard has made 124 appearances for St Helens since joining them from Warrington in 2003 but has played only eight times this year because of injury.
"It's a great opportunity to join a team who are challenging for Super League honours," said Fozzard, who missed Saints' Challenge Cup success.
"I'm looking forward to teaming up with Rovers next season. It will present me with a fresh challenge, one I intend to take with both hands."
Fozzard, who is in the Saints' 19-man squad for the semi-final qualifier against Leeds, was in the 2007 Super League Dream Team and won his only Great Britain cap against New Zealand in 2005.
Hull KR coach Justin Morgan said: "Nick has become one of the best go-forward players in Super League and is a handful for the opposition defence.
"With his physical presence he has become a really dominant player over the years."
