Experienced Aussie heading back to Huddersfield next season
Veteran Australian hooker Brad Drew is set for another spell with the Huddersfield Giants next season.
The 34-year-old was a popular figure with the Giants in a three-year period from 2005, but has spent the last two seasons with Wakefield.
Drew, who rejected the chance to join Salford, is regarded as a natural replacement for Scott Moore, who is returning to St Helens.
"Drewy will fit into our squad nicely," said Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown. "He is very experienced, has a good kicking game and knows his way around the field.
"He is a very smart player and his influence will be great for our younger guys in the halves and hooking roles."
The former Canberra Raiders hooker, who has agreed a 12-month deal, said: "I am re-joining my first English club which is still close to my heart and I'm obviously looking forward to working with Browny."
