  7. Image: Murray and Djokovic came out on Centre Court to a rousing reception
  8. Image: British Prime Minister David Cameron was part of a capacity crowd

  12. Image: With the formalities over, it was time for Murray and Djokovic to get the final started
  13. Image: Murray made a solid start and forced an early break of serve
  14. Image: Djokovic was already starting to feel the pressure
  15. Image: And it was British number one Murray who took the first set 6-4
  16. Image: Djokovic dug deep and swiftly moved into a 4-1 lead in the second set
  17. Image: But the Serbian lost his rhythm and was broken back
  18. Image: Murray maintained the momentum to take the second set and move to within one of glory
  19. Image: The British number one found himself a break down in the third set - could he hold his nerve?
  20. Image: Once again Djokovic saw his advantage slip before finding himself a break down
  21. Image: And after 77 long years, this was the moment when Murray ended Britain's wait for a men's singles champion at Wimbledon
