Rafael Nadal has confirmed his operation to remove his appendix has been a success.
Nadal was released from the Quiron Teknon hospital in Barcelona on Wednesday, two days after undergoing surgery.
But Nadal was unable to give any indication on when he will make his comeback, saying he would start training when he had recovered fully, which is expected to be around four weeks.
"Everything went well. It was simple, ordinary surgery," Nadal told reporters after walking out alone from.
The Spaniard attempted to play through suspected appendicitis last month, and attempted to treat the condition with antibiotics before opting for surgery.
Nadal's appendix was removed on Monday using laparoscopy or key-hole surgery.
Because of the operation, Nadal will miss the ATP Finals in London.
