Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer sign up for IPTL

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are among the star names to sign up for the 2015 International Premier Tennis League.

And the Japan Warriors, featuring Kei Nishikori and Maria Sharapova, will become the fifth team to take part in the second IPTL between 2-20 December.

Last year's inaugural edition was won by the Indian Aces and the world's top stars will flock back to Asia as the crown is defended for the first time.

The event pits the sport's elite stars in a team format alongside legends of the past and up-and-comers with unique rules providing a compelling spectacle.

The Player Draft, held on Sunday in Dubai, means Nadal will represent the Aces, Djokovic will return to Singapore Slammers and Federer  will play for the UAE Royals. 

The Manila Mavericks will feature Serena Williams and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
