Qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich has reached the Korean Open final after another upset win over second seed Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in the semi-finals.
The Belarusian, who is ranked No 136 in the world, had overcome the third seeded Sloane Stephens a day earlier and she continued her surprise run with a 3-6 6-3 6-3 win over Schmiedlova.
Sasnovich dropped her first set of the tournament, but recovered to book her place in Sunday's final against top seeded Irina-Camelia Begu.
"I wasn't serving really well today, and I wasn't playing my best tennis, but I was concentrated. I really wanted to win the match," Sasnovich said.
"I just kept trying to find some way to win. It's really exciting for me to be in my first WTA final - it's going to be a really nice day for me tomorrow."
Romanian Begu was barely troubled during a 6-0 6-2 win over Belgium's eighth seed Alison Van Uytvanck.
Begu is chasing her second career WTA title after winning the Tashkent Open in 2012 and is not underestimating her in-form rival.
"It doesn't matter if she's a qualifier or a main draw player, she's in the finals, and she's had a really good week," Begu said.
"It's definitely going to be a tough match. In a final you always have to expect a tough match. It's never easy. But I'm feeling ready. We'll see what happens."
