Jelena Jankovic produced a dominant display to beat unseeded Denisa Allertova in the final of the Guangzhou International.

Allertova had beaten top seed Simona Halep and third-ranked Sara Errani to reach her first WTA final but she was no match for the Serbian player, seeded fourth for the tournament in China.

The pair swapped breaks in the first two games but after Allertova took a 2-1 lead she would fail to win another game as Jankovic eased to a 6-2 6-0 victory.

Jankovic lost only 20 points in her 11-game streak and ran away with the match, finishing Allertova off in style by firing down an ace.

"It's amazing to win a title in China for the second time this year - obviously China is very special to me," said Jankovic, who won a 125 Series event in Nanchang earlier this season.

Jankovic also heaped praise on Allertova, adding: "Denisa, you had such a great run here in Guangzhou, beating such great players, and you played so well in the final - it was definitely closer than the result says.

"You'll have many more finals and many more titles in the future, so just keep going, just keep doing what you're doing."

Allertova made a promising start to the final, recovering from a sloppy opening service game, but it was all one-way traffic after that.

"It was an amazing time for me here," Allertova said. "I'm so happy I could beat so many good players here and play my first final. Jelena was too good, but I'm happy with my week."
