Heather Watson storms into Monterrey final

Heather Watson is just one match away from a third WTA title after she defeated Caroline Garcia to reach the final of the Abierto Monterrey Afirme in Mexico.
The 23-year-old saw off Caroline Wozniacki on Friday and proved too good for Garcia as she romped home 6-1 6-2.
She will now meet Kirsten Flipkens in the final after she Anett Kontaveit.
Watson has lost her two career meetings with 30-year-old Belgian Flipkens but if she can reverse that trend she can add to the titles she won in Japan in October 2012 and Hobart in January 2015.
This was Watson's third career win over Garcia, who offered little resistance.
She sent down five aces and was efficient on her first serve, winning 86 per cent of the points on it.
"I was very happy with how I played today. I knew I was going to have to play well," said Watson.
"I'm very happy to be in the final. I've played Kirsten a few times and she's very experienced. It definitely won't be easy so I'm going to have to bring my A-game tomorrow [Sunday]."
Flipkens secured her final berth with a straight-sets win over Kontaveit, 7-6 6-4.
