When Djokovic hit a first serve long, Edmund swung and shanked the ball high in the air. It fell almost straight down toward Djokovic, who used both hands to position his left pocket under the ball.

That's where it settled. Even Djokovic was impressed and looking forward to watching the TV replay.

"It will be fun to see it," he said. "I was lucky, I must say. Right place at the right time, I guess."
