Dalgleish strikes at Hamilton with Glenrowan Rose

Scottish-based trainers were celebrating on the first day of action at Hamilton Park in 2016.
Keith Dalgleish landed the feature race on day one of the new season as Glenrowan Rose stormed to victory for Phillip Makin.
The Carluke raider made all to beat Taexali by three-quarters of a length in the £28,000 British Stallion Studs 'Tangerine Trees' EBF Conditions Stakes.
Dalgleish said: "She's a nice filly and ran well when giving weight to the boys at Doncaster last time. She's quite speedy and hopefully she'll keep improving."
Jim Goldie hit the bullseye in the £20,000 totepoolliveinfo.com Buttonhook Handicap as 10/1 chance Sir Chauvelin swooped late under Jimmy Sullivan to pip Dark Ruler by half a length.
The winner was pushed along almost from the off and looked to have an impossible task on his hands before finally latching on to the rest of the field and picking his rivals off in the home straight.
Goldie said: "I would have backed him mid-race as its a long old straight here when the leaders go quick. We think quite a lot of him and he was the most fancied of our runners today. He's also smart horse over hurdles and won twice last season."
Mitchum completed a hat-trick in the opening race of the day for Middlesborough trainer Ron Barr and apprentice Phil Dennis.
