Tomas Berdych sacks coach Dani Vallverdu after poor run of form

Tomas Berdych has fired his coach Dani Vallverdu after 17 months working together.
Berdych's announcement on Monday comes after he was beaten 6-0 6-0 by David Goffin in the third round of the Italian Open.
The world No 8 says the move is a reaction to his poor recent form, which has seen him win 19 matches and lose 10 in 2016.
"My results lately have not been what I expected," he said.
"I am not a player at the beginning of my career, so I had to act quickly when I felt like making a change."
Berdych, who led the Czechs to two Davis Cup titles but has never won a Grand Slam tournament, was a runner-up at Wimbledon in 2010 and has been an ever-present in the world's top 10 for the past six years, reaching his highest ranking at No 4 a year ago.
The 30-year-old has yet to decide on Vallverdu's replacement.
