Andy Murray back in action after health tip from mother-in-law

World No 1 Andy Murray says his mother-in-law was the person who diagnosed him with shingles, after he was laid low in the wake of the Australian Open.
And Murray has now made a winning return to action, beating Malek Jaziri 6-4 6-1 in the opening round of the Dubai Duty Free Championships.
Murray suffered a shock loss to Mischa Zverev in Melbourne and then found himself suffering from a painful rash, but wife Kim's mother, Leonore Sears, was on hand to dispense some crucial advice.
Following his comeback win over Jaziri, Murray explained: "I had a little bit of a rash, round to my stomach.
"It wasn't terrible but normally, if you have a little bit of a rash and you scratch it, it feels better. With that it was really, really painful.
"I didn't think much of it at the beginning, and it was actually my wife's mum [who diagnosed the condition].
"We were having dinner and I said 'this is really irritating me' and she was like 'show me, it might be shingles'.
"The next day I got the doctor and she was right."
Five weeks and a period of enforced rest later, Murray was back on court in Dubai.
The Brit made a slow start against Jaziri and struggled to find his first serve but he got better as the match went on and eventually emerged a comfortable 6-4 6-1 winner.
In the second round, Murray will face Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, who won their last meeting in Indian Wells back in 2012.
