Dominic Thiem completely destroyed his racket after losing a break point

Dominic Thiem lost his rag and destroyed his racket after losing a set point in his Miami Open second-round match against Borna Coric.

The Austrian lost the first set 6-1 and had a set point in the second on the Coric serve, as the rain started to fall in Florida.

Knowing it was the last point to play before being ushered inside by the match officials, Thiem was pushed to the baseline and could only loop a retreating return shot high and out of the court.

Thiem, who also demolished a racket in the Davis Cup last year, then proceeded to whack his racket on the ground several times, bending it into a piece of scrap.

Thiem also overcame an embarrassing brain freeze in the final game to win 6-1 7-5.

Serving for the match, Coric stopped in the middle of a rally, challenging a line call, only to be reminded by the chair umpire that he had no challenges left.
