Injuries to several of the world's best names, including British No 1 Andy Murray and former world No 1 Novak Djokovic, have been a major taking point of 2017 alongside a number of memorable moments on both the ATP Tour and WTA Tour.
Nadal and Simona Halep have ended the year as the world No 1s while some players have made notable breakthroughs on both the Grand Slam and Masters level stage.
