Gael Monfils is the latest player to rule himself out of the French Open starting on Monday. The home favourite was knocked out of the Nice Open by qualifier Brian Baker on Wednesday and continues to be dogged by long-term knee problems. The world number 13 has been advised to rest for three weeks, meaning he should be fit for Wimbledon next month.
