Where is Emma Raducanu playing next?
Raducanu made her return to competitive tennis in the United Cup in January but suffered a first career loss to Maria Sakkari after which she revealed that she was unable to play for two and a half months due to an ongoing injury.
She will next be in action at the Hobart International, which gets under way on January 12 before the Australian Open starts on January 18 at Melbourne Park.
Raducanu has been looking to push herself further in contention for a coveted seeding spot at the first Grand Slam of the year in Melbourne this month - which she will achieve if she is in the top 32 in the world.

What is Raducanu's current ranking?
In the WTA live rankings, Raducanu sits at No 29 and a seeding at the Australian Open in January is now up in the air. Her career-high ranking was No 10, back in July 2022.
Who is Raducanu's coach?
Raducanu has been coached by Spaniard Francis Roig since August 2025, with the partnership to continue in 2026. Roig was a former coach to Rafael Nadal for the majority of the 22-time Grand Slam champion's career.
Prior to that, Raducanu was being coached by former British No 1 Mark Petchey, while she has been without a permanent coach since parting ways with Nick Cavaday in January of 2025.
How did Raducanu's 2025 go?
Raducanu began her 2025 campaign at the Australian Open where she reached the third round before losing to Iga Swiatek.
Elsewhere in the Grand Slams last year, she was beaten by Swiatek in the second round at the French Open, lost a close battle to Aryna Sabalenka in the third round at Wimbledon after beating 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova in her previous match, and then exited the US Open at the third-round stage with a 6-1 6-2 defeat to Elena Rybakina in just 62 minutes.
A big highlight for Raducanu in 2025 was making the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington as she overcame two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka in dominant fashion and also Sakkari before losing to Anna Kalinskaya in straight sets.
The Brit also recorded her best result in a WTA 1000 event when she reached the quarter-finals of the Miami Open in March, and she made the last eight at Queen's, too, before bowing out to top seed Qinwen Zheng on that occasion.
At the China Open in September, Raducanu had three match points against Jessica Pegula in the third round before losing 6-3 6-7 (9-11) 0-6, while she then called an abrupt end to her season in October after feeling unwell at other events in China.
How many Grand Slam titles has Raducanu won?
So far, the 2021 US Open victory remains Raducanu's sole success in a major tournament. She reached the fourth round in Wimbledon that year - a feat she matched in 2024 and might have bettered were it not for injury - but at the Australian and French Opens, she has never progressed beyond the third round.
