Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal face stiff tests in the ATP 500 Basel on Friday, with all four quarter-finals taking place live on Sky Sports 3 HD.

Home favourite Federer came through a stern test from Philipp Kohlschreiber on Thursday, winning 6-4 4-6 6-4 to book his place in the last eight.

The first match of the day sees number five seed Richard Gasquet of France taking on Croatia's in-form Ivo Karlovic, after he knocked out Stan Wawrinka to advance to the quarter-finals.

Next up is an all-American clash as Jack Sock goes head to head with Donald Young after eliminating another compatriot, John Isner, in the last round.

Third seed Nadal is up in the third quarter-final as he takes on former US Open champion and seventh seed Marin Cilic in an intriguing clash.

Finally, Federer will take the court against 24-year-old eighth seed David Goffin of Belgium.
