Rafael Nadal plays Gael Monfils in Monte Carlo live on Sky Sports

Rafael Nadal can re-establish himself as the king of the clay in Sunday’s Monte Carlo Masters final against Gael Monfils.
The Spaniard is regarded as tennis' greatest clay court player and has showed signs of rekindling his pomp this week in Monaco - you can watch the action on Sunday on Sky Sports 5 HD from 10.30am.
Pencilled in before the singles final will be Jamie Murray's pursuit of a further title - the elder brother of the British No 1 joins Bruno Soares for the doubles final against Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut or Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.
Nadal's pursuit of a ninth title in Monte Carlo is pencilled in for 1.30pm as he ramps up his pre-French Open preparations.
The 14-time Grand Slam winner looked back to his imperious best on Saturday as he dispatched Andy Murray in the semi-finals but will need to have bottled up some of that form for Sunday.
Monfils, a Frenchman playing in his homeland, stands in Nadal's way and will bring his unique brand of entertaining tennis with him.
Head-to-head, Monfils has rarely been able to trouble Nadal and sits on the wrong end of a 2-11 record, without a win in their last three meetings. Ominously, both of Monfils' victories have come on the hard courts of Qatar.
Nadal will arrive for the Monte Carlo Masters final as overwhelming favourite but can he replicate the form that previously resulted in eight wins at this tournament?
Watch the Monte Carlo Masters final on Sunday on Sky Sports 5 HD from 10.30am.
