Whiley became the first Brit in history to win a calendar Grand Slam after she and Kamiji won all four major championships in 2014.

Friday represents a chance for Whiley to settle a score with van Koot, who lost to the Dutchwoman in the last eight of the women’s wheelchair singles on Wednesday.
