Argentinian battles to win over Cibulkova

Gisela Dulko came from match point down for the second consecutive day to reach the semi-finals of the Collector Swedish Open in Bastad. The Argentinian edged out second seed Dominika Cibulkova in a final set tie-break, eventually clinching victory 6-7 6-3 7-6 (8-6) in a match lasting well over three hours. In her first semi-final of the season, Dulko will face surprise package Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez. The Spaniard overcame her compatriot and seventh seed Carla Suarez Navarro 4-6 6-3 6-0. Top seed Caroline Wozniacki was pushed to the limit but still managed to get the better of Russia's Maria Kirilenko, sealing her place in the last four with a 7-5 7-6 success. Wozniacki will meet Italian Flavia Pennetta in the semi-finals, after she made short work of Russian youngster Alla Kudryavtseva, winning 6-4 6-2.
