Spaniard comes through in three sets

Tommy Robredo put his miserable 2010 season behind him as he claimed the Movistar Open title in Chile. The Spaniard failed to make a final last year, but he showed glimpses of a return to form as he toppled Santiago Giraldo 6-2 2-6 7-6 to claim his 10th ATP crown. Robredo had looked on course for a convincing win as he took the first set, only for Giraldo to come storming back to level. Giraldo was then on the brink of victory as he moved 5-2 up in the deciding rubber but the 28-year-old Robredo rediscovered his form to eventually win the title 7-5 on the tiebreak. "Ten is a very nice number and it feels good to lift a trophy again," Robredo said. "When he served at 5-3 in the third, he started being less aggressive and put the ball in play more, which allowed me to play longer and get into the court again. "He was hitting really hard until then and it was really tough to put my game together."
