Swiss teenager Belinda Bencic closed in on a maiden WTA title by beating former world No 1 Jelena Jankovic to reach the Topshelf Open final in the Netherlands.
The fourth-seeded 18-year-old showed no fatigue after a gruelling three-hour quarter-final against Kristina Mladenovic, winning 6-3 6-3 in 87 minutes in 's-Hertogenbosch.
Bencic wrapped up the victory in impressive fashion by winning three games in succession against the second seed from Serbia and rattling off the final eight points without reply.
In Sunday's final she will take on Italian No 5 seed Camila Giorgi who beat Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands 6-2 6-4.
