We've picked out a couple of the best shots from Andy Murray's US Open exit to Kevin Anderson in what turned out to be a thrill-a-minute ride on Louis Armstrong Stadium.

The first was possibly the best point of the tournament so far in which Murray showed terrific retrieving ability and looked as though he won the point with a majestic lob ... but Anderson had other ideas.

Murray did win a sensational 29-shot rally in the opening set ending it with an irresistible double-handed backhand winner which the 15th seed could only watch sail past him with venomous speed.
