Partick Thistle have added to their squad this January transfer Deadline Day by signing former Queens Park Rangers striker Antonio German and Celtic starlet Aidan Nesbitt on six month loan deals.
The 24-year-old German will wear the No 10 shirt at Firhill and was most recently at Kerala Blasters in the Indian Premier League, where he scored six goals in nine appearances.
Manager Alan Archibald has also brought in Nesbitt from Celtic further boosting his striking options of Kris Doolan and Matthias Pogba.
German initially broke through the ranks at QPR, making his first team debut in March 2009. He scored three times in 20 appearances at Loftus Road and has a number of spells at other clubs including Stockport County and Gillingham.
He goes in to the squad for Tuesday night's Premiership match at home to Motherwell where he could face Stephen Pearson, a former team-mate from his time Kerala Blasters.
German said: "I am relieved, happy and I see it as an opportunity to show what I can do and hopefully score some goals for the team.
"I haven't seen Partick play but I bring something different; pace and power and I can play in a variety of positions so hopefully I can show what I can do."
Nesbitt. is highly rated at Celtic and the attacking midfielder made his debut as a late substitute in a League Cup tie against Raith Rovers in September.
Thistle have secured Dundee United midfielder Chris Erskine on a pre-contract deal and their own winger, Steven Lawless, has been the subject of interest from Tannadice but no swap deal is imminent.
Manager Alan Archibald said: "I think Dundee United have made us aware that they have spoken to him about next year but as far as I am aware Stevie is one of our regular players and he won't be leaving unless someone is going to pay for him.
"We haven't had anything concrete from anyone, no-one has made a bid for any of our players so we are happy."
On the prospect of an early arrival for Erskine, the Thistle boss said: "We would be willing to do it if they were willing to do it but I don't think they will be."
