Aston Villa have completed the Deadline Day loan signing of Swansea midfielder Tom Carroll.
Villa left it late to secure the signing of the 26-year-old, who moves to Villa Park for the remainder of the season.
Carroll, who has featured 12 times in the league so far this season for the Swans, arrives to add midfield reinforcement after Villa missed out on the signing of Leroy Fer.
Villa had shown interest in the Dutchman, but ran out of time to complete a deal.
A Deadline Day move for defender Frederic Guilbert was also completed, although Villa have loaned the 24-year-old back to Caen for the remainder of the season.
