Two champions went head to head, The Fiend made an appearance and a dream match between two of the biggest names in the history of the women's division was confirmed for SummerSlam.
Kofi Kingston battled AJ Styles in a match literally surrounded by ringside shenanigans from The OC and The New Day while Charlotte Flair laid down the challenge to Trish Stratus for a match, which was duly accepted.
Add in another new edge of aggression from Bayley and this was another entertaining offering from the weird and wonderful world of sports entertainment.
